[03/05/2002] FFW issues official statement about Grebeck Tragedy

On the behalf of the Fun Ford Weekend staff I would like to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Steve Grebeck. Unfortunately in the sport of drag racing accidents happen and this proved to be true yesterday. In the 12 years of FFW racing we have never experienced a devastating tragedy. Steve has raced with us for many seasons and was a favorite amongst the fans. FFW staff will mourn the loss of such a dedicated and enthusiastic competitor. -- Bill Alexander
