[02/12/2003] TCI-FAST Signs 3-year Agreement to Sponsor PRO Pro Stock Class in the 2003 PRO-Edelbrock Drag Racing Series

By: -

ProMedia Events and TCI-FAST are proud to announce that a 3-year agreement has been signed for the title sponsorship of the TCI-FAST Pro Stock class within the PRO-Edelbrock Drag Racing Series. TCI and FAST are sister companies of Competition Cams, Inc., a second year sponsor of the PRO event series, and will be "co-title sponsors" of the Pro Stock class together.

According to PRO V.P. of Event Development, Charlie Harmon, “TCI and FAST will be terrific partners with the PRO racing series for promoting and supporting the popular Pro Stock class. We at PRO are proud to be associated with such strong brand names, and with the additional support of sister company Competition Cams, we look forward to a long and successful partnership with this company in toward our mutual goal of growing street legal drag racing.”

TCI-FAST Pro Stock is a naturally aspirated class designed for 1950 & newer American production cars and trucks that are equipped with stock-type chassis and 10.6" wide tires. TCI-FAST Pro Stock entries are permitted EFI and carbureted small block and big block engines, and run in the 9-second range in the quarter mile.

FAST stands for "Fuel Air Spark Technology" -- and is a fitting name for a company that produces high performance electronic fuel injection systems and components for racing applications. TCI is one of the leading racing transmission and torque converter companies in the United States, and is proud to sponsor the Pro Stock class! For more information, check out the TCI and FAST websites as: www.fuelairspark.com and www.tciauto.com

TCI, FAST, and Competition Cams will be supporting the PRO Drag Racing Series with posted cash contingency. TCI will be posting for TCI Torque Converters in all PRO series classes; Competition Cams will be posting for COMP Camshafts in all PRO series classes; and FAST will be posting for FAST EFI Systems in all PRO series classes.
