OverRev MagazineProMedia Publishing, publisher of Race Pages and Fastest Street Car Magazines, announced today the launch of OverRev Magazine, targeted toward the sport compact drag racing market. In 2004, seven issues of OverRev Magazine will be published and mailed to over 25,000 enthusiasts and subscribers, including over 1,000 tuner, retail and mail order shops.

OverRev’s readers will experience the quickly growing import & sport compact drag racing market in over 100 pages of “real world” coverage. Following in the footsteps of ProMedia’s successful street legal titles in the domestic drag racing marketplace, OverRev’s intention is to provide coverage of all current racing series and all varieties of sport compact quarter-mile performance. With its coverage of NHRA, IDRC, NOPI and select individual racing events, OverRev Magazine will become the first independent and dedicated voice designed specifically to cover this expanding market.

Beyond the lifestyle of sport compact drag racing, OverRev will feature heavy coverage of the technical aspects of sport compact vehicles, including engine building, EFI, chassis, turbos, and nitrous. Secondary coverage will be provided on the personalities, news, rumors, race coverage, car features, and new products. Domestic sport compact drag racing is a fast growing segment of the overall market, and OverRev will dedicate a unique section to this market as well with tech features, including editorial on Ford Focus, Dodge Neon, and Chevrolet Cavalier.

OverRev Magazine will be printed as “junior tabloid”, with a glossy 100-lb coated cover. First issue blast off will begin with the June/July 2004 issue and will hit mailboxes in April, 2004.
