[03/10/2004] Join SVTOA and SVT at the Mustang 40th Anniversary Celebration

Come join SVTOA and SVT at THE Mustang Event of the Year – Mustang 40th Anniversary Celebration in Nashville, TN – April 15-18, 2004! The Main Celebration activities will be conducted in the main Plaza area of the Nashville Super Speedway. In addition to the record setting Mustang Club of America car show with at least 3000 show cars in attendance expected, there will be many family activities included. You''ll have the opportunity to experience concerts by some up-and-coming future stars of the entertainment world, fun and game activities for kids of all ages, shopping and touring trips to local area attractions, and a very special Heritage Room where you will be able to visit and talk with many of the original Ford design personnel from the original Mustang Design Team. Attendees can also visit the official display for the Mustang Hall Of Fame and many of the inducted members will be in attendance for you to meet and chat with. Yes, this will truly be the Mustang event of the Century. There will be many surprises as well, so do not miss it!

The list of great activities goes on and on, here are just a couple of the highlights:

CHARLIE DANIELS BAND IN CONCERT - Sunday April 18, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. What better way to salute the Mustang than with another great American icon - Charlie Daniels! The concert is at no additional charge to all attendees to the celebration.

HISTORIC VINTAGE RACE EXHIBITION – Come check out this invitation only Vintage Race exhibition on Saturday April 17, 2004 during the noon hour on the road course of the Nashville Super speedway. Watch 30 period correct vintage Mustang, Shelby and Cobras race like they used to on the Trans-Am circuit in the 60''s. Spectators can view the entire exhibition from the Grand Stands of the Super speedway or venture down to the pit area for a closer look.

FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GRAND OLE OPRY – Join 1500 of your fellow Mustangers on the main floor of the Grand Ole Opry Friday, April 16. This is the true flavor of Nashville, so whatever you do - do not miss out on this fantastic event at the 40th Anniversary Celebration.

SALEEN 20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION - Steve has done it again. He is bringing the world renowned Pink Flamingos from their long running engagement in Las Vegas to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel for a gala Saleen 20th Anniversary Celebration. The festivities will commence at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 16.

THURSDAY EVENING MUSTANG CRUISE-IN - Join in Thursday evening for a cruise-in to the historic Second Avenue district of Nashville. This will truly be an evening of fun and entertainment and a time to let your hair down and unwind.

The Celebration activities will run Thursday, April 15 – Sunday, April 18 2004, and SVT and SVTOA will be on display in the Sponsor area, so come by and see us!
